ruce Tippet, an artist from Boston, Lincolnshire, transitioned from figurative to abstract art.
His 1958 solo exhibition at Lords Gallery brought recognition. A French Government Scholarship in the late ’50s took him to Paris, where he explored American painting techniques.
He later settled in the U.S., affiliating with Betty Parsons Gallery in 1966. Tippet also ventured into furniture design in Italy. His art now graces prestigious collections, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
